Light beam reflected from excess dust particles in filter assembly

A process localises to fine dust filter hoses. The filter assembly consists of (a) a dust chamber receiving raw gas; (b) a chamber for filtered gas; (c) a head plate separating the dust chamber from the pure gas chamber; and (d) a number of textile filter hoses joined at the top to the head plate, and closed at the bottom. The closed ends project into the dust chamber, and the open ends into the pure gas chamber. The novelty is that a parallel light beam (14) is emitted by a laser source (13) and directed through the pure gas chamber (7). The laser beam moves as directed through the space in the pure gas chamber (7) above the ends (9) of the open filter tubes where it is scattered by dust and located by a Mie-effect detector (16) or by human eye.
