The cutting tool has two axially parallel hollow pulverising rollers (1,2) driven in opposite rotation and each having several axially aligned circumferentially spaced webs (7) whose radially outer end (12) has an acute angled front edge (13) pointing in the rotary direction (4,5) and an acute angled rear edge (14) opposite the front edge and pointing against the rotary direction. A front face (15) adjoining the front edge radially inwardly has a rolling curve cross-section so that the rear edge of each web of one roller moves along the front face (15) of each other roller forming a constant gap (16) as the webs interengage.
