The car lifting element or profiled rod (6) of the jack has a shaped body which with the jack in the installed position elastically engages in a mating profile in the respective rod or lifting element. The lifting element is formed as a pivoting carrier arm (3). The profiled rod is hinged in the fork-end of the lifting element and has longitudinal grooves (11) engaging with longitudinal protrusions (14) formed in the lifting element and acting as the mating profile.
