摘要 An ultrasonic flow velocity measuring instrument for liquids and gases employs microstructured emitters producing a focused ultrasonic beam and microstructured receiver arrays. At least one emitter mounted on a silicon or ceramic substrate (1) sends a focused beam at right angles into the flow. Pref. the beam is reflected by a special reflection in the flow. Pref. a receiver array is positioned on each side of the emitter. These arrays have high lateral resolution and determine the point of impingement of the reflected beam which drifts with the flow. The flow velocity is calculated from the drift.
