The carrier consists of a pair of frames (2,3) which are connected by a pair of parallel cross beams (4,5) forming a rectangular working area is formed. Operating groups (6,8,10,11) are attached to the upper (5) and lower (4) beam and the frames. Extensions (4a,4b) are found on both ends of the lower beam which project beyond the frames. Vertical operating groups (10) that are not required for the processing of particular parts can be stored securely on the extensions. Each length can be equal to half the extend of half of the working groups providing in total enough space to hold all of them.
