<p>PURPOSE:To absorb vibration positively and obtain the sufficient buckling stroke of impact absorption at the time of a collision or the like by holding mass required to absorb vibration generated from an engine part, transmitted from the road surface, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A vibration absorber 25 and an impact absorbing body 10 buckling-deformed by impact are provided on the front side of the boss part 3 of a steering wheel body 1. The impact absorbing body 10 is provided with a front face part 19, an upper wall part 21 and a lower wall part 22 and formed into frame shape with both side faces opened. The vibration absorber 25 is provided with a mass body 27. The mass body 27 is positioned inside the impact absorbing body 10 and disposed on the boss part 3 side in relation to a diagonal line connecting the lower part of the front face part 19 to the rear end of the upper wall part 21. The impact absorbing body 10 thereby comes in contact with the mass body 27 of the vibration absorber 25 at the buckling time, so that buckling is not impeded.
