The underplaster pipe disconnector is composed of a wall-installation box (1) into which an upper feed connection (3) and a lower discharge connection (4) open, and of a tubular disconnector function part (2) which is provided in the box (1) between the openings of the two connections (3, 4) in a sealing manner and such that it can be removed. The function part (2) has an axial length which is shorter than the clearance between the openings of the two connections (3, 4). The outlet end (5) of the function part (2) is designed in a cylindrical manner and can be plugged into the discharge connection (4) of the box (1) by means of an O-ring seal (6). The feed connection (3) of the box (1) is designed with a sliding bush (7) which can be axially displaced in a sealed manner in the connection. That end (9) of the bush which projects out of the feed connection (3) can be plugged into the inlet end (10) of the function part (2) by means of an O-ring seal (11).
