There is disclosed an iminothiazoline derivative of the general formula: wherein R1 is (halo)alkyl, (halo)alkenyl, (halo)alkynyl or the like; R2 is (halo)alkyl, optionally substituted aryl, formyl, cyano or the like; R3 is hydrogen, (halo)alkyl or the like; and Q is a group of the general formula: Also disclosed are a herbicide containing a herbicidally effective amount of the iminothiazoline derivative and a method for controlling unfavorable weeds, which includes applying a herbicidally effective amount of the iminothiazoline derivative to an area where the unfavorable weeds grow or will grow.
