The unit for raising oysters consists of a tubular net (24) suspended from a line moored in the sea and equipped with one or more horizontal inner panels (30) to support the molluscs. The panel has a rim (42) round its edge with its surface lying perpendicular to the main surface of the panel and extending both above and below it, and it is held in place inside the net by a locking ring (32) which presses against the rim from the outside of the net. The central part of the panel can be perforated, and its outer rim can have a recess in which the net is fixed with the aid of a cord and its ends joined by a quick-release coupling. <IMAGE> |
