<p>A partial amino acid sequence of a beta -1,4-galactanase obtainable by means of Aspergillus aculeatus is described, and also a corresponding recombinant DNA sequence, vector and transformed host. Use of the beta -1,4-galactanase or a pectinase preparation enriched with the beta -1,4-galactanase for degradation or modification of plant cell walls is described.</p> |
