PURPOSE:To prevent air bite at sailing in shallows and fix a suction tube with enough strength and secure capacity of an oil pan sufficiently in an outboard engine in which the oil pan positioned downwardly is connected with a member fixed and disposed upward of an extension case and also an upper end of the suction tube for sucking lubricating oil from the oil pan is connected. CONSTITUTION:An oil pan 30 is formed in a shape such that at least a front half along a direction of movement of a hull is a flat bottom in a tilt down state of an extension case C2. A lower end of a suction tube 32 is positioned a little to a front part of the oil pan 30 and a middle part of the suction tube 32 is supported by a supporting member 34 extending up and down. The supporting member 34 and the suction tube 32 are positioned on a projected view to a flat plane along back and forth of the hull including a shaft line of a drive shaft 2 and a projected view to a flat plane orthogonal with the shaft line of the drive shaft 2 with the respective angles. |
