PURPOSE:To obtain a new immunosuppressive substance with low side effects from a culture fluid of Actinomycetes Streptomyces nobilis, or its evaporation-to- dryness product or a solvent extract obtained from said microbes after culture. CONSTITUTION:This immunosuppressive substance is obtained from a culture fluid of Actinomycetes Streptomyces nobilis, or its evaporation-to-dryness product or a solvent extract obtained from said microbes after culture. And, in the high-performance liquid chromatography using an ODS column (ODS-80TM, inner diameter 4.6mm length 25.0cm), this substance presents the following retention times: 1.10 times that for TINUVIN P when used an eluting solution (water/acetonitrile = 3/7), 1.10 times that for TINUVIN P when used an eluting solution-A (water/acetonitrile/methanol = 6/17/17), and 0.83 times that for TINUVIN P when used an eluting solution (water/methanol = 1/9), under the following conditions: detection wavelength: 210nm, temperature: 40 deg.C, and flow rate: 1ml/min. |
