<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of sheet crown and sheet shape and to also raise yield by changing the manipulated variable of a rolling mill based on measured values of crown and planar shape of a rolled stock and the calculated value of roll profile in the contact surface with a material to be rolled. CONSTITUTION:A shape detector 5 and crown detector 6 for the rolled stock 2 are provided on the outlet side of the final stand, detected signals from these detectors are inputted to a correction arithmetic unit 7 and transmitted to a preset value arithmetic unit 8. In the preset value arithmetic unit 8, the roll profile predicted value of each stand is calculated with a mechanical crown arithmetic unit 9 and inputted to the correction arithmetic unit 7. By feedback control using the predicted values of the sheet crown and shape of the upstream stands that are estimated using these measured values of sheet crown and sheet shape on the outlet side of this final stand and a sheet crown variation estimating equation, the estimation error of roll profile is corrected and the sheet crown/sheet shape at the time of the next setting are corrected into the target values.</p> |
