PURPOSE:To eliminate the distortion of the AC signal component of deceleration and make a high-speed process by comparing the present detected data with the value added with the prescribed constant to the previous ramp function data, using the smaller one as the present ramp function data, and adding the difference data with the detected data for a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION:The detection signal of the deceleration of a vehicle detected by an acceleration sensor is amplified, A/D-converted, and inputted to a collision judging means 5. A ramp function generating means 51 compares the present detected data with the additional value added with a constant for determining the ramp inclination to the previous ramp function data and selects the smaller one as the present ramp function data. A difference forming means 52 calculates the difference data between the detected data and the ramp function data, a definite integrating means 54 adds the difference data for the prescribed period to calculate the difference data additional value, and an ignition judging means 55 generates an ignition command when the difference data additional value reaches a prescribed value.
