<p>PURPOSE:To provide a lock mechanism which can release the engagement of a striker and a lock member by the pulling operation of a knob, and regulate the release of engagement by pulling operation of this knob. CONSTITUTION:In a knob 20 used to the lock mechanism of the lid of a housing body, the first projection piece 21 to pull down a lock member 30 in a main body 10 against energization, and to release the engagement with a striker; and the second projection piece 22 to pull down the lock member 30 in the main body 10 against the energization through a lever cam 40, so as to release the engagement with the striker, and at the same time, housed in a space 42 formed in the lever cam 40 when the lever cam 40 is moved; are provided. The knob 20 makes the first projection piece 21 abutted against the lock member 30 in the locking mechanism, or cuts the first projection piece 21, and makes only the second projection piece 22 abutted against the lever cam 40 in the locking mechanism.</p> |
