PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition having effects on the treatment of cognitive and/or neuroimmune dysfunctions. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition having favorable effects on cognitive and/or neuroimmune dysfunctions, especially a disorder related to the Alzheimer disease, comprises a natural water soluble extracts isolated from leaves of Phlebodium decumanum (the genus Phlebodium), Polypodium aureum, Polypodium leucotomos, Polypodium vulgare and Polypodium trisereiale (the genus Polyposium), Pteridium aquilinum (the genus Pteridium), Dryopteris crassirhizoma (the genus Dryopteris), and Cyatheataiwamiana (the genus Cyatheataiwaiana), and/or an alcohol soluble component and a liposoluble component thereof as active ingredient together with a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
