<p>PURPOSE:To provide a belt carrying device capable of reducing edge force acting on the end of a belt member in an edge guide roll and reducing the risk of the damage of a belt member to such an extent that it does not matter in practical use. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a driving roll 4, an edge guide roll 5, other rolls 6 and 7, and a belt member 8 laid on the rolls and circularly moving. In the device, a rigid roll is used as the driving roll 4, and an elastic roll where plural disk-like elastic fins are erected in an axial direction is used as the roll 5, then an edge guide 18 on which the end of the belt member 8 slides is provided at the end of the roll 5 in the axial direction. The roll 6 adjacent to the upstream side of the roll 5 with respect to the moving direction of the belt member 8 is an elastic roll.</p> |
