PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric vibrator which can lessen a leak of vibrations from a supporting member and obtain stable drift characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A vibration gyro 10 includes a piezoelectric vibrator 12. The piezoelectric vibrator 12 includes a vibrator 14 of a regular triangular prism. A groove 16 is formed in the vibrator 14 to extend in a widthwise direction of one side face of the vibrator 14. The groove 16 is formed at a position corresponding to a node point of the vibrator 14. Piezoelectric elements 18a, 18b and 18c are formed at three side faces of the vibrator 14. A generally M-shaped supporting member 26 is fitted inside the groove 16. |
