PURPOSE:To make the antibacterial action of a conveyor belt easy to last. CONSTITUTION:In a conveyor belt consisting of a belt main body 2 impregnated with fluoroplastic to be dried and sintered and a guide member 3, an antibacterial agent-containing resin soln. is obtained by mixing fluoroplastic and an antibacterial agent in a wt. ratio of 85:15-97:3 to prepare a mixed soln. and mixing this mixed soln. and water in a wt. ratio of 40:60-60:40 and the belt main body 2 and the guide member 3 are impregnated with the antibacterial agent- containing resin soln. to be dried and sintered at temp. melting fluoroplastic but not thermally decomposing the same. Then, the guide member 3 wherein a plurality of strings are braided. is attached to the belt main body 2 to produce the conveyor belt. |
