PURPOSE:To eliminate toner on a constant eliminating treatment level even in the case of toner eliminating capacity being changed by changing the setting of an eliminating process condition on the basis of the detected result of a toner image adhering to the surface of a separating member after the separation of toner. CONSTITUTION:A toner image adhering onto an offset belt 44 after being separated from transfer paper 10 by toner separating treatment is detected by a CCD sensor 80. On the basis of the detected result, the state of toner elimination is judged to change an eliminating process condition from the following toner eliminating treatment, that is, the setting of at least one of the rotating speed, heating temperature and holding pressure of the heating rollers 45, 46 of a toner separating unit 40 and the rotating speed of the applying roller 33 of a solution supply unit 30. |
