<p>PURPOSE:To connect the portable terminal device and an image reader in one body and improve the usability by providing a power switch on a surface other than the surface where a read means and the portable terminal device are connected. CONSTITUTION:The portable terminal device has a CPU 10 which controls the portable terminal device, a ROM 11 where a program for controlling the portable terminal device is stored, and a RAM 12 that the CPU 10 uses. Further, this device has an input/output port 13 for connecting the image reader, an image RAM 14 for storing image data, a power source 15 for circuits, and the switch 8 of the power source 15. Then when the image reader is connected to the flank of the portable terminal device, the power switch 8 is fitted to the flank where the image reader 3 is not connected to the portable terminal device 1. Therefore, the portable terminal device which is conveniently used at the time of pen input operation is obtained.</p> |
