<p>PURPOSE:To provide the dictionary editing device which can easily refer to dictionary data of a header word consisting of plural words by properly registering the header word. CONSTITUTION:This device has a dictionary part 1 where dictionary data are registered, an input part 2 in which dictionary data to be registered newly in the dictionary part 1 are inputted, a 1st dictionary registration part 4 which newly registers the inputted dictionary data in the dictionary part 1, a word divisional retrieval part 5 which divides the header word of the inputted dictionary data into its constituent words when the header word consists of plural constituent words and retrieves the header word registered in the dictionary part 1 by using the respective divided words as retrieval key words, a 2nd temporary storage part 6 which temporarily stores a detection result when the word divisional retrieval part 5 detects the header word, a dictionary data selection part 11 which adds the dictionary data inputted from the input part 2 to corresponding information stored in the 2nd temporary storage part 6, and a 2nd registration part 12 which registers the storage contents of the 2nd temporary storage part 6 in the dictionary part 1.</p> |
