PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of a battery by stopping supplying power to a display part when displayed contents can not be observed when speaking. CONSTITUTION:A display control part 17 is respectively connected through a common bus 19 to a call incoming control part 2, call originating control part 3 and speaking control part 4 and control information to accompany speaking is displayed on a display part 16. A gyro 18 detects the inclination of the housing of a main body and reports that inclination angle to the display control part 17. When it is reported from the gyro 18 that the inclination of the housing of the main body is almost horizontal and the control of call incoming or call originating is reported from any one of the call incoming control part 2 and the call originating control part 3, the display control part 17 controls a power source to supply power to the display part 16. When it is reported from the gyro 18 that the inclination of the housing of the main body is changed from almost horizontal to almost vertical while the display of the display part 16 is controlled by control information to accompany speaking, the display control part 17 controls the power source to stop supplying power to the display part 16. |
