PURPOSE:To maintain the standby state in which power is not supplied from a commercial power supply and the power consumption is made zero regardless of the install condition of the equipment such as a dark place or at night. CONSTITUTION:The standby state of the equipment is maintained by a current from telephone lines 13a, 13b selected by a changeover circuit 33a or a higher current among currents from a solar power supply 32 in the standby state of the equipment. When a CI discrimination circuit 36 detects the reception of a CI signal, a main body switch 15 is turned on and a main body power supply 14 is driven, the current supplied from the main body power supply 14 is selected by a changeover circuit 33a and given to a current storage circuit 33b, in which the current is stored to make communication. When the reception is finished, the main body switch 15 is turned off, the main body power supply 14 is stopped and the mode restores to the 0W standby mode and the standby state of the equipment is maintained by a current from the telephone lines 13a, 13b or a current from the solar power supply 32. |
