PURPOSE:To provide the currency processing device which continues bundling and recovery of currency of the next denomination regardless of the existence of a fraction, which cannot be bundled, and dasily recovers this fraction of currency at the time of bundling and recovering the currency in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:When bundling and recovery processing is designated, bank notes in storage boxes 9a to 9d are taken out by bank note taking-out devices 10a to 10d and are sent to a carrying line 17 for bundling by a carrying line 11 for money discharging and are carried to a temporary storage box 18 for bundling. Bank notes accumulated in this temporary storage box 18 are bundled by hundreads by a bundling part 19. When the number of bank notes in storage boxes 9a to 9c is smaller than a prescribed value (100), these remaining bank notes are carried to a money discharging part 16 through a branch carrying line 13. |
