<p>PURPOSE:To provide the exclusive controller among computers which can securely perform exclusive control over a common resource while maintaining the operation of the whole system even if a fault occurs in anyone computer. CONSTITUTION:The respective computers 101, 102, and 103 are connected by a LAN 105 and a decentralized common memory bus 104 which has decentralized common memory cards mounted on the respective computers. Each decentralized common memory card has a decentralized common memory where common data among the computers are decentralized and stored and a decentralized common memory controller which enables a mutual data interchange with the decentralized common memories mounted on other computers and is connected to the decentralized common memory bus 104, the I/O bus in the computer, and the decentralized common memory through the internal bus; and the exclusive control over the common data among the respective computers which have data interchanged through the decentralized common memory bus 104 is performed.</p> |
