<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a color filter giving a solid-state image pickup element excellent in performance such as color reproducibility, and a color filter element excellent in performance such as color density and heat resistance, a microlens array excellent in performance such as adhesion to the element and a composition for the color filter element or microlens array. CONSTITUTION:A phenol shown by formula I (where Z<1> is oxygen or a single bond, each of Z<2> and Z<3> is a phenyl with one side replaced with alkyls and the other side with hydroxyl, each of Z<4> to Z<6> is an alkyl, etc., and each of T<1> and T<2> is hydrogen or hydroxyl), a phenol expressed by formula II (where each of U<1> and U<2> is hydrogen, an alkyl, etc.) and formaldehyde are condensed in the presence of acid catalyst to obtain an alkali-soluble resin. The microlens array composition contains the alkali-soluble resin, a cross-linking agent and an org. solvent.</p> |
