PURPOSE:To improve the dispersion stability of a pigment in a photosensitive soln. contg. a color image forming material. CONSTITUTION:When an org. solvent is added to a color image forming material contg. a dispersive resin having an acid value of 20-300, a pigment, a monomer having one or more photopolymerizable unsatd. bonds in one molecule and a photopolymn. initiator to obtain a photosensitive soln., a combination of the dispersive resin with the org. solvent is selected so that the viscosity of a soln. consisting of only the resin and the solvent and having 10wt.% concn. of the resin is regulated to the range of 3.0-12.0mPa.sec at 25 deg.C and the objective photosensitive soln. is obtd. Also, the photosensitive element using this photosensitive soln. and the method for producing the color filter are obtd.
