<p>PURPOSE:To relax restriction for the number of times of writing by providing a counter for the number of times of writing and an index information saving part, exchanging or switching an index part when count contents of the counter for the number of times of writing exceed the number of times of writing permission of the index part. CONSTITUTION:When count contents of a counter for the number of times of writing exceed the number of times of writing permission, a transfer control section 5 saves index information stored in an index section 2 in an index information saving part 4. And exchange request indication of the index section 2 is sent from the control section 5 or the counter 3. After the index section 2 is exchanged, index information saved in the saving part 4 is transferred to and written in a new index section 2 through a data transfer interface section 6. In that case, count contents of the counter 3 is cleared after exchange is finished. Therefore, the index section stores index information before exchange, and used with a data section l until the number of times of writing reaches the number of times of writing permission.</p> |
