PURPOSE:To positively prevent the generation of toner clogging without providing special conveyor mechanism for the conveyance of toner. CONSTITUTION:In a cleaning device 65, the tip of a blade 66 is brought into contact with the peripheral surface of a photoreceptor drum 25 so that an angle formed by the blade 66 and the cleaned surface 25a of the photoreceptor drum 25 is an obtuse angle. The cleaning device 65 has a toner conveying face 75 formed by the blade 66 and a blade holder 67 for holding the blade 66 so as to be disposed in the upward inclined state, an upper casing 40 provided above the toner conveying face 75 so as to form a toner conveying path 76 jointly with the toner conveying face 75, and a toner storage chamber 77 with a space enlarged downward from the terminal end 68 of the toner conveying face 75. The upper casing 40 is disposed in such a way that the toner conveying path 76 up to the imaginary face formed with inclination equal to the repose angle alpha of toner from the horizontal plane H including the terminal end 68 of the toner conveying face 75 is gradually enlarged from upstream to downstream. |
