PURPOSE:To provide a range finder of camera which has a simple constitution and can find the ranges to many object points within a picture with high accuracy and at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:This range finder has a light projecting element 1 projecting plural luminous fluxes to an object, a turning mirror 8 performing scanning with the luminous flux emitted from the light projecting element 1 in a specified area within the picture, a pair of light receiving lenses 3a, 3b and PSDs 4a and 4b respectively receiving reflected light from the object made by projected light with which scanning is performed, photoelectric conversion light receiving circuits 5a and 5b, and a CPU10 where a distance calculating means respectively calculating distance to the object responding to the output of the light receiving circuits 5a and 5b is incorporated. |
