DEVELOPER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic latent image developing two-component developer which is held noncontact to an electrostatic latent image carrying member and is used for a developing system allowing the toner to fly by alternating electric fields. CONSTITUTION:The toner of the two-component developer consisting of the toner and carrier used for the developing system held noncontact to the developer of the electrostatic latent image carrying member 1 and making the toner to fly by the alternating electric fields contain titanium oxide particles of an average primary grain size of 15 to 50mum subjected to a hydrophobic treatment and silica particles of an average primary grain size of 25 to 80nm subjected to a hydrobphobic treatment as external additives. The content of the titanium oxide particles is larger than the content of the silica particles.
