PURPOSE: To provide a simple temperature controlling method of the two processors of a thermal treatment equipment, and a device for executing the method. CONSTITUTION: In a device 10, two temperature processors (for example, layered rollers 14 and 16) contacting to a calibration print 50 having an element to be thermal processed (for example, color particle 52) are temperature controlled. One processor (the layered roller 14) is equipped with a heating means 22. The second processor (the layered roller 16) is brought into contact with the directly heated first processor (the layered roller 14) for the temperature adjustment of the second processor (the layered roller 16). This state can be easily attained when the temperature of the processor (the layered roller 16) which is not directly heated is less than a prescribed target temperature or a prescribed target temperature range. When the two processors (the layered rollers 14 and 16) are brought into contact with each other, the directly heated processor (the layered roller 14) is heated to a higher temperature than that when those two processors are separated from each other.
