<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water heating appliance which makes it possible to obtain warm water by making a ceramic body generate a heat efficiently by a microwave. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic body 8 absorbing a microwave and generating a heat is provided inside a cylindrical body 2 made of metal. A microwave transmitting device 6 is so provided as to face an opening 5 provided in the cylindrical body 2. A heat exchanger 14 is provided outside the cylindrical body 2. A leakage of the microwave radiated from the microwave transmitting device 6 does not occur and, accordingly, the ceramic body 8 can be made to generate the heat efficiently.</p> |
