PURPOSE: To provide an active suspension system which is capable of easily implementing the control, and performing the control related to the force. CONSTITUTION: This active suspension system particularly for motor vehicles, includes a suspension or support unit provided between a sprung mass 1 and an unsprung mass 2, and the suspension or support unit is provided with a passive, uncontrolled spring element 3 and a hydraulic displacer unit 5 with controllable adjustment which is provided in series thereto. The current supporting force can be controlled through the comparison between the target value and the actual value only by the displacement measurements by providing displacement sensors 10, 11 to reproduce the stroke position of the sprung mass 1 to the unsprung mass 2 and the stroke of the displacer unit 5. |
