The raster distortion correcting device of a deflection yoke in a color cathode ray tube having an electron gun for emitting three electron beams, a screen for reviving light, a shadow mask for dividing three electron beams and a deflection yoke for deflecting the electron beam to a predetermined position of the screen is characterized in that the deflection yoke has vertical and horizontal deflection coils for deflecting the electron beam vertically and horizontally, a holder fixes the vertical and horizontal deflection coils, serving as an insulating unit between the coils and determining the relative position between the cathode ray tube and deflection coils and a ferrite core placed in the vertical and horizontal deflection coils, for strengthening the magnetic field by the coils, the holder has a plurality of grooves with a predetermined length formed along the circumference of the front extension unit at the screen side, and coil-ferrite combining units are respectively combined to the insides of the grooves of the holder.
