摘要 PURPOSE:To perform gear shift control suitable for a running state and to perform gear shift control based on the will of a drive by a method wherein the acceleration deceleration state of a vehicle is detected and when is confirmed that a vehicle is in a steady running state, a target gear speed suitable for a running state is set, and a gear shift command signal is outputted. CONSTITUTION:A control device for a semiautomatic transmission comprises an actuator to perform automatic gear shift operation of a transmission; and a gear shift control means 46 to execute gear shift control by operating the actuator according to a gear shift command signal inputted by a driver. The acceleration deceleration state of a vehicle is detected by a acceleration deceleration detecting means 41 and it is decided by a running state deciding means 47 whether a vehicle is in a steady running state according to the detecting signal. When it is confirmed that the vehicle is in a steady running state, a target gear speed suitable for the running state of the vehicle is set by a gear speed setting means 48, and a gear speed command signal is outputted to the gear shift control means 46. Thus, during high acceleration deceleration, worsening of a running feeling owing to automatic gear shift is prevented from occurring and gear shift control suitable for an operation state is automatically executed during steady running.
