Sulphated galactan oligosaccharide(s)

摘要

Sulphated galactan oligosaccharide (I) having 2-20 saccharide units and a sulphation level of /-0.5 sulphate gp./saccharide unit, is new. Also claimed are:(a) a mixt. of (I) characterised in that /-50% by wt. is (I);(b) a compsn. for topical external application which contains (I) as the principle active ingredient, and an appropriate support;(c) cosmetic and pharmaceutical compsns. as in (b), and(d) a cell culture additive contg. (I).
