The low expansion nickel alloy for an electron gun electrode of a cathode ray tube is characterized in that the weight ratio of the components is N; 49.0 - 51.0%, C; below 0.02%, S; below 0.3%, Mn; below 0.6%, B; 0.001 - 0.02%, Fe; remaining. The present invention relates to the low expansion nickel alloy for an electron gun electrode of a cathode ray tube which can improve the internal voltage characteristic and focus characteristic by removing burr occurred at the electrode processing.
