The collector consists of a net (4) on a support mounted on the end of a beam (1) with a coupling (2) at its other end for attaching to an appropriate machine. The support is made from two curved arms (3,3') which are pivoted to the end of the beam so they can be deployed by power cylinders (6) or retracted so they lie alongside the beam.The beam has a small rigging mast (7) connected by lines (8) to the two ends of the beam, and by auxiliary and detachable lines (9) to the ends of the two curved arms. The net, which is deployed beneath the arms, is connected to the coupling end of the beam by cables (10) attached to its lower edge. The beam and arms are made from hollow rectangular or square-section metal profiles.
