<p>A base station pages a radio paging receiver whose home area is the paging area of the base station, using the receiver identification number peculiar to the area. When the base station pages a radio calling receiver having a different home area and having entered the paging area of the base station, the base station uses the area identification number of the home area and the receiver identification number of the receiver. Thus, the radio paging receiver is paged in any paging area without any receiver identification numbers for every paging area.</p> |
