The lock has a housing with bore holes in which are located springloaded pins which extend into the cylinder core. The pins form aclosing plane which is dependant on the profile of the key andwhich transfer the turning moment of the key to the lock.The cylinder core has varying milled sections which have acontinuous sliding plane on the key face and over which the pinscan slide. The milled sections form recesses which can be locatedin the same axis or axially displaced form the sprung pins. Thelocking element of the lock is activated by the key.
