The region where the mobile station is located within the respective cell is determined from a mobile station of a cellular mobile radio network by transit time difference measuring. The mobile station location within the region is determined by reception of a transmitter determining the location.Pref. the transit time difference measuring is carried out by measuring time difference during reception of the transmitter of the respective cell and several other transmitters of the mobile radio network.
