The box or basket (1) is open at the top and is made from metal, wood or plastics in a selected shape. The water tank (2) slides in and out underneath by slide rails (3,4) attached to the box. The box has apertures for passing through capillary thick wool threads or narrow material strips. The rails provide a circumferential slit (6) to ensure good climatic conditions.The window box can be easily removed from the wall and is held by a hook fitting.
