<p>Self-inflatable life jacket for motorcycle riders, characterized in that there are incorporated inside (1) the jacket two small compressed air bottles (2), situated in the side portions of the jacket, and whose outlet valves are connected to cords (3) housed in the internal seams of the jacket and which come out at the lower front part of the jacket and carrying at their end a hook or a safety hook (4) to be fixed at a fixing point provided on the motorcycle. In case of accident and ejection of the motorcycle rider, the cords are tensioned and detached from the jacket and set off the security device of the bottles thereby causing the automatic inflation of the jacket and protecting the motorcycle rider when falling on the ground. Internal air escape valves (7) are provided to let air come out proportionally to the impact, in order to create a damping effect. This invention may be adapted to existing conventional garments for motorcycle riders.</p> |
