ADJUSTABLE GOLF PUTTER HEAD

An adjustable golf putter includes an elongated shaft (11) having an upper end (13) with a handle (12) and a lower end (14) with a spherical tip portion (15). A putter head (16) has an external surface and a socket (17) that includes an enlarged open end portion (18) for receiving the enlarged tip (15) of the shaft, the socket also having a restricted opening (19) through which the shaft passes, but which will not allow passage of the spherical head (15). A plurality of set screw openings (26, 27, 28) extend between the socket (17) and the external surface of the putter head. A plurality of set screws (31, 32, 33) extend respectively through the plurality of set screw openings (26, 27, 28) each having a pointed tip (34, 35, 36) that engages the enlarged spherical end (15) of the shaft (11). The enlarged spherical end (15) of the shaft (11) can be of softer metal material than the material for the set screws (31, 32, 33).
