TILTABLE TABLE FOR PACKAGING LIQUIDS, PARTICULARLY ANIMAL SEMEN, IN FLEXIBLE ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION POUCHES

A device for packaging liquids, particularly animal semen, e.g. from boars, in pre-sealed and pre-cut pouches provided in a roll and designed for artificial insemination. The device consists of a tiltable table (1) with a base enabling adjustment of the tilt angle thereof to facilitate gravitational filling of the flexible insemination pouches (10). In particular, the device includes a pouch filling station and a sealing station. Said device further includes a movable filling needle inserted into a removable needle guide (25) and mounted on a block that includes an inductive proximity sensor (26) generating an alternating magnetic field which is automatically cancelled once a metal liner (24) is inserted into the needle guide (25) after the filling needle has been inserted into the pouch filling channel (23), thus triggering the sealing of the flexible pouches (10).
