Temporary immobilisation of loose solid materials

Process for temporary immobilisation of solids of various types and structures, and which may be of a single material or a mixt., comprises wetting the surface of the solid material at the storage site with a wax emulsion comprising 5-40 pts.wt. wax made up to 100 pts.wt. with water and/or nutrient soln., applied to the surface of the material by spraying from a distance of at least 1 m through the air in an amt. of 10-100 g wax mixt. per m<2> of the surface to be immobilised.
