Gas generation compsn. for use in inflatable safety devices

A new gas generator compsn. comprises an oxidizable agent which generates, when oxidised, a pre-determined gas compsn.) and an oxidizing agent. The main ingredient is hydrazo-dicarbonamide, H2N-CO-NH.NH CONH2 10-45% (wt.), and the salt of an oxy-halogeno acid 90-55% (wt.) as oxidising agent.
