The sheet guide drum for a rotary printing machine has its outer dia. adjustable by a sprung, tensioned cylinder lift (8) and radially adjustable support components (4). Between the cylinder lift and the support components an elastically deformable cylinder cover (7) is provided. The support components are radially displaceably located in a guide member (3) fixed to the sheet guide drum.The support components locate on the outside of the cylinder cover and support on the inside on counter bearings (6) of a positioning plate (5), the effective radial distance from the shaft (1) is continuously alterable by rotation of the positioning plate relatively to the shaft.
